Description

This is a pre-solicitation synopsis for a service acquisition for full food service of the High Country Inn (HCI) dining facility at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). Performance shall be according to the requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor shall, except as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) as Government-furnished property or services, provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform full food services at the High Country Inn (HCI) dining facility as defined in the PWS. All tasks and functions fall broadly into the following categories: Food Service Contractors.

Background
This is a pre-solicitation synopsis for a service acquisition for full food service of the High Country Inn (HCI) dining facility at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). The acquisition will be solicited as an RFP under Contracting by Negotiation and Commercial Items. It is anticipated to result in a single-award, firm-fixed price, Performance-Based Services contract. The acquisition will be solicited as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside IAW 19.14.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform full food services at the High Country Inn (HCI) dining facility as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). All tasks and functions fall broadly into the following categories: Food Service Contractors.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance will be for a base year and four (4) one-year option years plus a one-month transition period and six (6) month extension of services.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the High Country Inn Dining Facility, 5218 Cedar Drive, USAF Academy 80840.
