USAF - MAFC2 Data Center Market Research

The Airspace Mission Planning Division (AMPD) is seeking sources for the relocation of the Mobility Air Forces Communication and Control (MAF C2) Distributed Environment. The government is looking for a new data center to replace its current site at McConnell AFB, KS, DE. The government will require this capability from 11-JUL-22 until FY25. The physical requirements include space for NIPRNet and SIPRNet server racks, with specific power and HVAC requirements. The site must be in excess of 150 miles from zip code 62225 to allow geographic separation between enclaves and must be currently accredited for NIPRNet and SIPRNet. Other requirements include DISA Point of Presence, backup services, and open storage certification.

The hosted co-location centers must satisfy security compliance standards such as Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A), NIST 800-53 Revision 4/FISMA High, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001. Desired services include proximity parking for DE personnel, hands-on capabilities when DE personnel are not available, DISA Point of Presence with two 1GBps circuits, private caged area surrounding racks, and lock assemblies for secure space and cage door.

The government is also interested in any standard terms and conditions that the supplier should be aware of, including the possibility of commencing an agreement with the government with 1-year options, termination for lack of Federal Appropriations without penalty, allocation of utility costs, upcoming regulatory compliance costs/requirements, hosting of government systems in the facility, and any existing pending actions specific to security accreditation.
