Work to be Acquired: The contractor is required to survey the Backflow Preventer Devices at Luke AFB. This includes identifying any cross connections that are not properly protected by a backflow device and any backflow devices that are in violation of code requirements. The contractor must also tag each Backflow Preventer with a barcode if not already tagged and provide survey results in various formats.

Place of Performance/Delivery: Luke Air Force Base, Arizona
Notable Information: The contractor is not required to correct any deficiencies discovered in this survey. Additionally, there is an option for the contractor to field test approximately 700 Backflow Preventer Devices in 334 facilities and provide test results and deficiencies documented electronically on AF Form 843 and AF Form 845. The Civil Engineer's shop at Luke AFB will repair any backflow prevention device with damages that prevent testing.
