Purchase Agency: 103rd Rescue Squadron
The 103rd Rescue Squadron is seeking logistics support services to maintain equipment and ensure operational readiness for their Guardian Angel Weapon System (GAWS). The mission of the squadron is to provide support for joint operations in various environments and to project air and ground forces worldwide. To achieve this, they require highly qualified and experienced Logistics Support Specialists who will have extensive knowledge of GAWS operations. The services associated with this contract will have a period of performance of 1 base year and 4 option years, starting from September 28, 2024. The place of performance will be at the 103rd Rescue Squadron in Westhampton Beach, NY.

Notable information includes the requirement for personnel to work 40 hours per week, excluding recognized US holidays. Telework is authorized under rare conditions with approval from the chain of command and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The contractor must comply with all applicable installation/facility access and local security policies and procedures. They must also protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) encountered during the performance of services. Contractor employees requiring access to Government installations must complete Antiterrorism Level 1 Awareness Training within 15 calendar days after contract start date.

The contractor must designate an on-site Contract Manager (CM) who will ensure performance under the contract. All contractor personnel must identify themselves as contractors to avoid creating the impression that they are Government employees. The Government has unlimited rights to all documents/material produced under this contract, and all materials supplied to the Government become the sole property of the Government. The contractor must notify the KO immediately if there are any actual or potential Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) and submit a plan to avoid or mitigate them.

During the transition period, which starts at the beginning of the contract period, the contractor will have fifteen days to transition into providing logistics support services for the 103rd Rescue Squadron. The contractor must also comply with Contractor Manpower Reporting requirements.
