USAF - Curriculum Development Managers, JB San Antonio, TX - MRAS

The United States Air Force (USAF), in collaboration with the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to fulfill a critical requirement for the 937th Training Group (937 TRG). This group operates under the 37th Training Wing and the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and is responsible for training personnel across 16 out of 18 medical specialty career fields within the USAF. The overall goal of this initiative is to enhance educational capabilities by employing two Curriculum Development Managers, referred to as Instructional Designers, who will be integral in planning, designing, executing, and validating instructional systems across various allied health specialties.

The work being requested involves recruiting qualified Instructional Designers who can effectively manage tasks related to developing learning systems and materials essential for formal training programs. These programs are crucial for supporting military personnel engaged in diverse operations across warfare areas and medical facilities under the Department of Defense. The Instructional Designers' responsibilities will include creating educational content that supports both synchronous and asynchronous instruction methods, ensuring that instructors are well-equipped to deliver high-quality education. This effort requires individuals who can operate independently while also collaborating with teams at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas, with potential tasks extending to other JBSA installations.

Under this non-personal services contract, the contractor is expected to provide all necessary resources such as personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation tools, supervision, and other items required for fulfilling the duties outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government will maintain oversight of contract performance without direct supervision or control over individual service providers. The contractor's accountability lies solely with ensuring that their service providers meet all contractual obligations effectively.
