Description

This Sources Sought Notification (SSN) is to conduct market research to identify potential responsible sources. For the purposes of this inquiry, a responsible source is defined as an entity capable of performing work that wholly meets the requirement laid out by the attached PWS.

The Government will use the information gathered through publication of this SSN to determine the best acquisition strategy for this requirement. The Government is interested in all potential business who have the capability to execute the work described in the PWS.

Background
The United States Air Force (USAF) is seeking to conduct market research through this Sources Sought Notification (SSN) to identify responsible sources capable of performing the work outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The goal of this inquiry is to gather information that will inform the best acquisition strategy for the relocation of ceiling panels in a band practice booth, ensuring that all potential businesses with the necessary capabilities are considered.

Work Details
The contractor is required to complete the following tasks:

1. Relocate two designated ceiling panels to their new positions, ensuring that the reassembled booth is free of sound leaks and passes a visual inspection by the Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR). All seals must be intact and panels flush; any damage or misalignment will necessitate re-performance within three business days.

2. Maintain the structural stability and acoustical performance of the isolation booth upon completion, ensuring no new gaps, vibrations, or discernible outside sound transmission occur. Any damage to the booth's integrity will be deemed unacceptable. Additionally, deliverables include a kickoff meeting agenda due within three days after contract award and a quality control plan submitted at the kickoff meeting with annual revisions due 15 days after option year award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at a location accessible to the contractor as determined by the Government.
