Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), San Francisco District is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial dry-dock services for the USACE Survey Vessel RANDY S. CUMMINGS.

The mission of USACE is to provide vital engineering services in peace and war to strengthen the nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters. This contract aims to ensure the maintenance and operational readiness of the RANDY S. CUMMINGS vessel through professional dry-dock services.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform dry dock services for the RANDY S. CUMMINGS vessel.

Specific tasks include:
- Pre-Dry-Docking Sea Trials
- Docking & Berthage Lay Activities
- Dry Docking & Services
- Cleaning, Hull Painting, Renew Zinc Anodes, Surface Treatments
- Inspections
- Replacement/Upgrade Installations
- Removal of crane and associated systems
- Install Ballast as per U.S. ARMY Marine Design Center specifications.
