Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), in collaboration with the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of providing Project Delivery Business Process Support Services. This initiative is part of USACE's broader mission to deliver essential public and military engineering services, which are crucial for national security, economic vitality, and disaster risk reduction. The focus of this effort is within the Jacksonville District, which plays a significant role in supporting various USACE missions, including civil works projects that address navigation, flood risk management, ecosystem restoration, coastal storm risk management, hydroelectric power generation, recreation, and water supply.

The contract seeks non-personal services to support the Project Delivery Business Process (PDBP) as outlined in USACE Engineering Regulation 5-1-11. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel and resources such as equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation tools, materials, and supervision to execute the required services effectively. These services aim to enhance resource decision-making processes that align with national interests and stakeholder impacts while promoting smart resource utilization and technical innovation across USACE operations.

USACE's strategic management framework emphasizes efficiency and effectiveness in meeting national needs through coordinated efforts across its divisions and districts. The Strategic Management System (SMS) guides planning, programming, budgeting, execution, and control processes throughout USACE. By engaging with private sector expertise through this contract opportunity within the Jacksonville District of the South Atlantic Division, USACE aims to leverage combined strengths from both public and private sectors to fulfill its mission objectives more efficiently.
