USACE Galveston District Gemini Office Move

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District is issuing this contract for the relocation of office furniture and incidental items from the Gemini Office building to the Galveston District Headquarters.

The mission of the USACE is to provide vital engineering services in peace and war to strengthen the nation's security, energize the economy, and reduce risks from disasters. The goal of this contract is to ensure a smooth and efficient transition of office items between two locations.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for planning, packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and in some cases reassembling or installing office items. This includes all necessary transportation, tools, materials, labor, and equipment required for the completion of the relocation effort.

The work involves moving items from the 4th floor of the Gemini Building at 1150 Gemini Ave, Houston, TX 77058 to the cafeteria area at the Galveston District Headquarters located at 2000 Fort Point Road, Galveston, TX 77550. All materials must be handled with extreme care as they include high-value government property such as monitors and TVs. The contractor must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal codes including but not limited to NFPA, IBC, OSHA standards. A site visit will be conducted to identify specific items for relocation.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of submitting an offer or quotation in response to this solicitation. Contractors are required to ensure compliance with all federal wage laws and safety standards during performance.
