USACE - Falls Lake Boundary Line Painting, North Carolina - MRAS

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), in collaboration with the General Services Administration (GSA), is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of executing maintenance work on the property boundary lines at Falls Lake, North Carolina. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that government-owned land boundaries remain clearly marked and visible, which is essential for both operational integrity and public awareness. The project will be carried out across Wake, Granville, and Durham counties, with specific operations centered around Falls Dam and the Visitor Assistance Center located at 11405 Falls of Neuse Road, Wake Forest, NC.

The scope of work involves brushing, painting, and signing designated segments along the existing boundary lines to maintain high visibility. It is important to note that this contract does not include establishing new boundary lines or conducting land surveys; rather, it focuses on maintaining current demarcations. Contractors will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, supplies, and transportation required for this task. However, certain materials will be supplied by the government as specified in the contract documentation.

Contractors are expected to repaint approximately 40 miles of previously marked trees along the boundary each year during a designated period from October 1 through March 31. The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) will provide detailed maps by September 1 each year to guide contractors on specific areas requiring attention.
