USACE - AI Requirement - MRAS

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), is conducting market research to explore capabilities related to an AI Innovation Workshop & Makers Group for the USACE Louisville District. The primary goal of this initiative is to harness the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) by developing innovative solutions that enhance workforce efficiency and streamline work processes across various functional areas within the district. This effort reflects a broader commitment by USACE to leverage cutting-edge technology to improve operational effectiveness and deliver better outcomes.

The contract seeks professional services from qualified Makers Group teams who will facilitate a structured AI Innovation Workshop program. This program is designed for all personnel within the Louisville District, irrespective of their grade or career field, although participation is subject to specific cohort limits and selection criteria. The workshop will operate in four quarterly 13-week cohorts, each accommodating up to ten participants and supporting up to five concurrent prototype tracks. These tracks will focus on transforming employee-submitted ideas into working AI prototypes ready for Government IT review.

Under this Performance Work Statement (PWS), the contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary resources, including labor, workshop facilitation, development environments, software licenses, session materials, and any other required instruments. The Louisville District will provide a collaborative workspace along with access to authorized AI platforms and government data essential for prototype development. These resources are intended to support the successful execution of the program's objectives: creating measurable improvements in workforce efficiency through tailored AI solutions.
