US Space Force’s Space Security Defense Program (SSDP) Innovation Foundry Great Power Space Competition Event

Background
The US Space Force’s Space Security Defense Program (SSDP) Innovation Foundry (SSDP_IF01) is hosting an UNCLASSIFIED Innovation Foundry (IF) Event in Tampa, FL. to identify original solutions for critical space challenges in a 2030 great power competition scenario. The event aims to bring together industry, academia, national labs, and government experts for a facilitated, creative, and critical thinking design event that will assist SSDP and its mission partners in identifying novel solutions for critical space challenges. The event's theme is bolstering the U.S. ability to compete by, with and through space during competition with near-peer adversaries.

Work Details
The event will explore threats from near-peer adversaries at the ground, link, and on-orbit segments of space operations. Attendees will be challenged to find solutions that are multidomain and multidimensional in nature.
Deliverables for the SSDP_IF01 event will include preliminary mission concepts for the defined scenario. The event will also build long-lasting key relationships with entrepreneurs and technology developers.
