Background
The US Army Training Center/Fort Jackson has a requirement to procure bagged ice for its various training units and other activities located on Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The bagged ice shall only be 16 pound bagged ice, primarily used for soldiers’ consumption during the warmer months of the year.
The primary focus is towards minimizing heat casualties through the timely delivery of ice to soldiers.

Work Details
The contractor is required to deliver 16-pound bags of ICE as ordered/required in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contract consists of a base period and four option periods, each with specific quantities and delivery dates. The minimum quantity for all orders issued against the contract is 1,000 units, and the maximum quantity is specified for each option period.
The contract also includes provisions for inspection and acceptance terms, delivery information, ordering procedures, and clauses incorporated by reference.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract period of performance will be a five-year ordering period from 13 May 2024 to 12 February 2029.

Place of Performance
The product will be delivered to unit facilities on Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
