Background
The US Army Institute of Surgical Research requires temporary off-site media vaulting services to safely and securely store backup data tape cartridge media at an off-site location. The contractor is expected to provide a turn-key solution that includes environmental controls to securely store, track, and efficiently transport stored data to and from a storage facility until data is needed for emergency recovery.

Work Details
The Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) outlines the systematic method for evaluating performance for the non-personal services contract. It explains what will be monitored, how monitoring will take place, who will conduct the monitoring, and how monitoring efforts and results will be documented.
It is a 'living document' subject to regular review and revision by the government, with changes coordinated with the contractor. The QASP also addresses revisions to surveillance methods and Quality Assurance procedures throughout the contract performance period.
The government's representative (COR) will oversee and coordinate surveillance activities, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
