URGENT-Dehumidification System- Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, CA

Background
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNSY) is seeking to lease a Dehumidification (DH) system for use at Naval Base Point Loma, CA. The goal of this contract is to provide dry and tempered process air for various industrial applications, ensuring optimal conditions for operations at the naval base.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide a Dehumidification system that includes the following components:
- 1 DH unit with a capacity of 5,000 CFM
- 1 inline electric heating coil rated at 60 KW
- A 10 Ton DX HVAC unit with electric heat
- Supporting electrical power cables.

The DH system must be frame/skid mounted and meet specific lifting and handling requirements. All heating elements must be electric resistance as steam is not available at the installation site. The detailed component list includes:
- DH Unit: 5,000 CFM
- Inline Electric Heating Coil: 60 KW
- 10 Ton HVAC (DX coil + Heat)
- Electrical Power Cables: 150 FT for DH unit, 150 FT for HVAC unit, and 400 FT for inline heater.

Additionally, the dehumidification unit must meet specific physical attributes including dimensions of 15’ x 5’ x 8’6” and a maximum weight of 6,000 lbs. It should operate on a single circuit at 460 Volt AC / 3 Phase / 60 Hz and deliver specified airflow and pressure requirements.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from June 22, 2026, to August 16, 2026 (8 weeks), with an option period extending from August 17, 2026, to September 13, 2026 (4 weeks).

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, California.
