Upgrade Phase III Chiller - Athens, GA   3

Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing this contract for the Phase III Chiller Upgrades at the United States National Poultry Research Center (USNPRC) located in Athens, Georgia.

The mission of the USDA is to provide leadership on food, agriculture, natural resources, and related issues based on sound public policy, the best available science, and efficient management. The goal of this contract is to upgrade the chiller system to enhance operational efficiency and support ongoing research activities at the facility.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all professional services necessary to complete Phase 3 of Upgrade Chiller as described in the specifications and drawings. This includes:
- Replacement of Chiller 1 and Chilled Water Pump 1.
- Electrical modifications as detailed in the project drawings.
- Testing and balancing of both chillers upon completion.
- Provision of all labor, materials, equipment (including cranes, rigging, and material handling equipment), transportation, utilities, supervision, and personal protective equipment necessary for the work.
- Coordination with facility representatives to minimize disruption during construction activities. Work must be scheduled during lower cooling seasons to ensure existing chiller needs are met.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from September 30, 2025, to December 31, 2026. The contractor is expected to complete all work within 365 days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the United States National Poultry Research Center located at 950 College Station Road, Athens, Georgia 30605.
