Universal Avionics Custom Flight Management System (FMS) Database

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Flight Program Operations (AJF), has a requirement for a navigational custom database for its fleet of aircraft. The database is a digital product, delivered electronically and loaded into the aircraft Flight Management System (FMS). Universal Avionics FMS’ are on the Challenger 601 aircraft.

Work Details
The contractor will maintain UASC Custom WW Database and Custom AND Databases. The contractor will provide technical support for the aircraft integration testing and for any ARINC coding issue. The contractor may be required to provide additional engineering development support for database enhancements to the custom databases on an as needed basis. Minimum qualifications require the contractor personnel providing the services have knowledge of commercial FMS databases and Aeronautical Radio Incorporated (ARINC) code processing requirements. The objective is to maintain Custom FMS Databases. The Custom databases will only be used by FAA Flight Program Operations aircraft currently consisting of, but not limited to, the Challenger 601 aircraft with Universal FMSs SCN 1000.0 or later installed.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance will consist of a Base Year and four (4) Option Years.

Place of Performance
Work Location: Contractor services for this task will be performed primarily at the contractor’s facilities. Some services may require performance at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
