This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

  1. Solicitation # - 47400PR250000019. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
  2. A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-99.
  3. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 713940 and the business size standard is fewer $17.5 million. This is a total small business set aside.
  4. Description of requirements for the items to be acquired-
    1. Provide 180 gym/fitness memberships to include one dependent per membership to all vendor locations in the Topeka and surrounding area.
    2. Provide list of gyms and their locations. Must have multiple locations in the Topeka area, ie. At least two.
    3. Facilities must provide cardio (i.e., treadmill, elliptical, rowing, etc.) and weightlifting equipment (i.e., free weights, dumbbells, weight machines, strength machines, resistance machines, etc).
  5. Delivery Date See period of performance.

Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Pay and Personnel Center (PPC) is required to provide gym services to its members due to the absence of a gym facility at their location in the Carlson Federal Building.

To address this need, PPC has issued a solicitation for gym membership services from local fitness facilities in Topeka, Kansas, as part of their wellness program aimed at improving employee health and fitness and enhancing readiness for USCG missions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide 180 gym/fitness memberships, each including one dependent, to multiple vendor locations in the Topeka area.

The gyms must have at least two locations and offer both cardio equipment (such as treadmills, ellipticals, and rowing machines) and weightlifting equipment (including free weights, dumbbells, weight machines, strength machines, and resistance machines). The facilities must be accessible to members between the hours of 0500 and 2100.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance lasting from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be the contractor's gym facilities located in the Topeka, Kansas area.
