Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Maintenance - NAS JRB NOLA   2

Background
The contract is issued by the Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) New Orleans, LA, aimed at providing uninterrupted power supply (UPS) maintenance services. The UPS systems are critical for ensuring a reliable power source for communications and aircraft control equipment in the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC) and RADAR facilities. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these systems are maintained by certified technicians to prevent any operational disruptions.

Work Details
The contractor will provide preventive and corrective maintenance services for two UPS systems located at NAS/JRB New Orleans. The work includes:
1. Preventive Maintenance:
- Semi-Annual Inspections including alarm history review, environmental condition checks, thermal scans, visual inspections of components, air filter maintenance, voltage and current measurements, load percentage calculations, and battery settings verification.
- Annual Inspections involving system bypass procedures, inspection of inverter circuits, power connections, capacitors, fans, logic boards, and cleaning of the system.

2. Emergency Services:
- 24/7 on-call service with a 4-hour response time for remedial actions.
- Provision of emergency service parts and labor as needed.

3. Battery Maintenance:
- Regular inspections of battery conditions, safety checks for operational labels and equipment, voltage measurements for each cell/jar, and overall condition assessments.

Period of Performance
The base period of performance is from August 18, 2025 through August 17, 2026 with four additional 12-month option periods.
