Uniform Services for Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNCM)

Background
The Indian Health Service (IHS), Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) requires professional uniform rental, laundering, and repair services for its Environmental Services personnel. Maintaining hygiene, standardized, and safe uniforms is critical to the infection control protocols and professional environment of the medical center.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, and facilities necessary to furnish a comprehensive uniform rental, laundering, and repair program for approximately 40 to 50 Environmental Services employees at NNMC. The Contractor must ensure all garments and laundering processes adhere to the standards set forth in this Statement of Work. Specific tasks include:

1) Supplying a minimum of eleven (11) complete sets of uniforms per employee for rotation;

2) Customizing shirts with employee identification and facility branding;

3) Conducting an on-site sizing event within ten (10) business days post-award;

4) Laundering services performed weekly with compliance to OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standards;

5) Inspecting uniforms for wear and damage, repairing or replacing as necessary at no additional cost.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance shall be for one (1) Base Year with four (4), one-year Option Periods, which may be exercised at the sole discretion of the IHS. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2026.

Bidder Requirements
The Contractor must have experience in providing uniform rental, laundering, and repair services compliant with healthcare standards. Specific requirements include the ability to conduct on-site sizing events and manage inventory effectively.
