UNICOR - Industry Day - Sales & Marketing Office Furniture

Background
UNICOR, the trade name of Federal Prison Industries (FPI), is a self-sustaining, wholly-owned government corporation established in 1934 that provides job training and skills to federal inmates. It manufactures products and provides services ranging from furniture and electronics to clothing and data entry primarily for federal agencies.

UNICOR's Office Furniture Group (OFG) offers a wide range of high-quality, cost-effective office furniture and services to Federal civilian agencies and the Department of Defense (DoD), while simultaneously providing valuable work experience and training for Federal inmates.

Work Details
The Industry Day event will take place on May 6, 2026, in Coleman, FL, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST. The schedule includes a welcome session with FPI introductions and factory tours from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m., followed by lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

From 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be one-on-one industry sessions where companies can showcase their current and future capabilities relevant to UNICOR's needs. Each company is allowed one 30-minute session (15 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for Q&A).

Companies must register by completing the registration form and background clearance form, which must be emailed by April 20, 2026. Attendees are advised that laptops, mobile phones, electronic communication tools, and recording devices are strictly prohibited within the correctional facility.
