UK Mail Haulage Services

Background
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT notice for UK Mail Haulage Services in support of US Visiting Forces, UK. The purpose of this notice is to identify interested Contractors and IS NOT a request for quote at this time. The requirement is to provide transportation of military mail, postal equipment, and supplies between London Heathrow Airport and RAF Alconbury, in support of US Military personnel stationed in the UK. Further details can be found within the Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) that is attached with this notice.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform loading, transportation and unloading of mail cargo, in accordance with the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS). The work includes providing a professional and timely delivery of mail to the highest commercial standards. The SOW includes sections on Quality Management Approach, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Quality Standards, Contractor Inspection Records, Government Furnished Property and Services, Work Load Estimates, and Appendices detailing acronyms/terms.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations where the contract will be performed are London Heathrow Airport and RAF Alconbury.
