The goal of this contract is to facilitate outreach and engagement with Veterans who may avoid seeking mental health assistance due to stigma, as well as to complement evidence-based mental health services offered by VA clinicians. This initiative aligns with the VHA Strategic Plan priorities aimed at improving Veterans' mental health and enhancing access to healthcare.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent, with Blueridge Information Technology Solutions awarded VA’s Office of Mental Health & Suicide Prevention web-based self-help courses for Veterans under 36C10X21D0011 (total $2,490,250; 03/01/21–02/28/26) and a related modification 36C10X25N0135 (contract value $525,000; 03/01/25–02/28/26). The prior work involved developing and delivering accessible, web-based self-help courseware tailored to Veterans for mental health and suicide prevention, including course development and maintenance activities. The current FY26 requirement for VHA OMH web-based self-help courses for Veterans aligns closely with this earlier courseware development and ongoing support effort, suggesting continuity of the same program.
