U.S. Senate Motorola Radio System Maintenance Support Services

Background
The United States Senate, Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) requires maintenance, repair, and support services for an encrypted Motorola P25 radio system. This contract aims to ensure the operational capability of the radio system across multiple sites within the National Capitol Region (NCR).

The SAA oversees a non-trunked radio network that includes various channels and frequencies essential for communication within the Senate.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide comprehensive on-site maintenance, repair, and support services for the Radio System. This includes:
1. Troubleshooting, fault isolation, and diagnostics of failed or malfunctioning equipment to ensure operational status.
2. Configuration, installation, and integration of replacement equipment as necessary.
3. On-site troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues affecting infrastructure and RF components.
4. Corrective maintenance activities to restore full operational capability in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
5. Preventive maintenance support including inspections and operational verification to ensure reliability.
6. Coordination with designated customer personnel and documentation of all work performed.

Period of Performance
This is a firm fixed price contract for a one-year Base Period with four (4) one-year option periods.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at multiple sites within the National Capitol Region (NCR), specifically within a fifty (50) mile radius of Washington, DC.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must maintain a local office within fifty (50) miles of the NCR with full-time staff for maintenance support. They must also maintain proficiency or certification in the installation and use of Motorola equipment, providing certification credentials upon request.
