The enclosed files include instructions and requirements for the completion and submission of quotes in response to Request for Quotation 2026-R-047 Mail Processing Conveyor System. Background
The United States Senate, Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is seeking a replacement mail processing conveyor system to enhance their mail handling and X-ray screening processes. The goal is to provide a fully operational system that integrates with existing workflows while improving reliability and maintainability.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide a complete, fully operational replacement mail processing conveyor system at the SAA designated mail processing facility in Landover, Maryland. This includes:
- Proposing, furnishing, delivering, installing, integrating, testing, and warranting a new conveyor system consisting of motorized roller conveyor, gravity conveyor, right angle divert/sort device, supports, side guides, controls, wiring, sensors, emergency stops, protective features, and all associated accessories.
- Disconnecting, dismantling, removing, and disposing of the existing conveyor equipment unless specified otherwise by the SAA.
- Protecting surrounding facilities and equipment during all phases of work including removal and installation.
- Ensuring that the new system supports the existing mail screening workflow and integrates with the current X-ray operational process without modifying or connecting to the existing X-ray machine unless authorized by the SAA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate capability to provide a complete operational system as specified in the Statement of Work. They must also have experience in similar projects involving conveyor systems and be able to coordinate installation with existing operations. Additionally, if telecommunications equipment is offered, compliance with Section 208 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act 2020 is required.
