Background
The U.S. Government, through the General Services Administration (GSA), is seeking to lease office and related space in Washington, DC. The goal of this Request for Lease Proposals (RLP) is to establish a lease that meets the agency's requirements for space while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards.

Work Details
The RLP outlines the following requirements for the lease:
1. The government seeks between 15,050 and 15,350 ABOA square feet of contiguous space in a modern quality building with sound construction.
2. The building must have a facade made of durable materials such as stone or brick and must be in good condition. If not new, it should be modernized or adapted for use.
3. Eight structured parking spaces are required, which must be secured and lit according to security requirements.
4. Approximately 250 ABOA square feet will be allocated for vending facilities under the Randolph-Sheppard Act, with utilities provided by the lessor.
5. The lease term is set for 10 years with a 5-year firm period, allowing government termination rights after providing 120 days' notice.
6. Unique requirements include closing an existing stairwell opening on the third floor by adding a floor slab.
7. Accessibility and fire safety standards must be met, including compliance with the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA).
