Description

The Embassy of the United States of America invites you to submit a quotation for the procurement of Freedom 250 Reception Production and Design in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Embassy intends to award a single purchase order / contract for the required services.
Kindly refer to the attached scope of work (SOW) for further details. Your quotation must be submitted electronically to KualaLumpurDTO@state.gov marked Quotation Enclosed Freedom 250 Reception - Production and Design to the Contracting Officer, General Services Office, Kuala Lumpur on or before 12:00 noon on April 12, 2026.
No quotations will be accepted after that time. For any quotations above $40,000 USD, the Contractor must have valid and active registration in SAM.gov at the time of proposal submission.

The U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is hosting a celebratory event on July 2, 2026, to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary for the Freedom 250 Reception. Specific tasks include:

(a) creating a design plan and decorating the venue to accommodate 1,400 guests in a main hall ballroom and surrounding areas;

(b) providing audio-visual services and content for the event. The contractor must ensure compliance with U.S. Embassy security requirements and facilitate setup beginning as early as July 1, 2026.
