The requirement is for providing Health Insurance Services per the global Medical coverage specifications to local employees of the U. S. Mission in Iraq. The estimated number of LES employees is 482 and the estimated number of independents is 739. For a total number of 1221 enrollees. Please note these are only estimated numbers.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
