Description

The solicitation is for the purchase of bulk water for U.S. Embassy Harare, Zimbabwe in accordance with the attached solicitation.

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management Database https://www.sam.gov prior to proposal submission as required by FAR 4.1102(a). Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register immediately upon receipt of this proposal if they are interested in submitting an offer. An offeror that is not registered at time of proposal submission may be deemed non-responsible with no further consideration.

Background
The solicitation is for the purchase of bulk water for U.S. Embassy Harare, Zimbabwe. The U.S. Embassy seeks the services of a specialized bulk water supplier to provide potable bulk water to meet the water needs of the U.S. Mission in Zimbabwe. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, with four option years.

Work Details
The contractor shall deliver and provide access to bulk water as described in the Scope of Work to the U.S. Embassy Harare. This includes having a reliable supply of potable bulk water in Harare, Zimbabwe, delivering bulk water to the U.S. Embassy residences within Harare via issuance of delivery orders, offloading bulk water into Embassy water tanks, and providing necessary equipment for offloading water. The contract type shall be a firm fixed-price with economic price adjustment of indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery under which firm fixed-price delivery orders may be placed.

Period of Performance
The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, with four option years.

Place of Performance
The Contractor shall deliver all ordered water to the 73 Embassy residences in Harare not later than 24 hours after the Task order call.
