Re: Data Center Consolidation - Fiber and Cable Installation

The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit (CA7), the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (ILND), and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois (ILNB) collectively, the Courts are requesting open market proposals to provide Fiber and Cable Installation for the Data Center Consolidation project.

The solicitation number is ILNDCLERK25-DCCI. Please see attached for the following additional information: Statement of Work (SOW), instructions for completion of proposal package, and applicable provisions and clauses.

The Courts intend to make an award based on the lowest price, technically acceptable proposal. All proposals shall be quoted as a fixed price.

Proposals shall be submitted via email to: procurement_ilnd@ilnd.uscourts.gov. Proposals are due September 15, 2025, by 12:00 p.m. CST.

Submit proposal in accordance with the instructions in Section L of this solicitation. Proposals and questions concerning this RFP must be emailed to Sanela Hukic, at the email address listed above. Questions must be submitted by September 5, 2025, by 12:00 p.m. CST.

Background
The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit (CA7), the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois (ILND), and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois (ILNB) are collectively requesting proposals for a Data Center Consolidation project.

The goal is to provide Fiber and Cable Installation services to facilitate the relocation of servers and core switches within their facilities, enhancing operational efficiency.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and accessories necessary for fiber and cable installation as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

The specific tasks include:
1. Scope A: Install one new 12 strand OM4 multimode fiber optic cable between Server Room 771 and various IDF closets, totaling 15 cables. All strands must be terminated on specified patch bays and tested.
2. Scope B: Install one new 12 strand OM4 multimode fiber optic cable between Server Room 771 and Server Room 1538, with termination and testing required.
3. Scope C: Install one new 6 strand OM4 multimode fiber optic cable between Server Room 771 and Room 1647, including termination and testing.
4. Scope D: Install one new 12 strand OM4 multimode fiber optic cable between Server Room 771 and Room 2607A, with termination and testing.
5. Scope E: Install one new 12 strand OM4 multimode fiber optic cable between Server Room 771 and Room 2737A, including termination and testing.
6. Scope F: Install one shielded CAT 6A cable between Rooms 2607A and 2661, with termination and testing required.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Everett McKinley Dirksen U.S. Courthouse located at 219 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois.
