U.S. Department of State - NEA-SCA 2025 Management Officers Workshop (MOW) Symposium

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Oman is seeking to host the Department of State’s Executive Office for the Bureaus of Near Eastern Affairs (NEA) and South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) Management Officers Workshop in Muscat, Oman. The goal of this contract is to facilitate information sharing and networking between Management Officers and Washington speakers in the NEA and SCA regions through a series of events.

Work Details
The contract includes organizing two main events: a hybrid kick-off event and a symposium. The hybrid kick-off will accommodate approximately 12 participants for one day (date TBD), featuring video conferencing capabilities, internet access, and light refreshments.

The symposium will take place from February 3-7, 2025, with 75-85 attendees, requiring comprehensive conference facilities including:
1. A welcome reception on February 2 from 1700-1900 with appetizers and non-alcoholic drinks.
2. Guest room arrangements at a maximum rate of $261 USD / 100 OMR per night.
3. Conference space from 0800-1700 on February 3-7 with necessary equipment such as projectors, sound systems, microphones, internet access for up to 80 users, and seating arrangements for participants.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes a hybrid kick-off event (date TBD in October to December 2024) followed by a symposium from February 3-7, 2025.
