Background
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is responsible for managing the flow of people and goods into the United States. This justification outlines the need for continued services at a soft-sided facility in Tucson, Arizona, which is crucial for holding non-citizens, including family units, unaccompanied children, and single adults. The current facility is operated by Deployed Resources, LLC, which has been providing these services since December 16, 2022.

Work Details
The contractor will provide ongoing Supplies, Services, and Maintenance of existing facilities while ensuring operational integrity through necessary renovations. The services include:
- A fully operational turn-key facility
- Security guards
- Janitorial services
- Maintenance services
- Food services
These services are essential for holding non-citizens in CBP's custody at the Tucson site. The follow-on task order will extend the current operations under BPA Task Order #70B01C22F00000721.

Period of Performance
The new period of performance includes a base period of 1 month and 30 option months, totaling approximately 31 months.
