The U.S. Consulate General in Merida, Mexico, requires swimming pool and water feature cleaning and maintenance services to ensure that all systems are in good operational condition.

The contract aims to provide preventive maintenance services for the swimming pool and water feature located within the Consulate Compound, ensuring safety and compliance with U.S. Government standards.

Work Details
The contractor will perform preventive maintenance services including:
- Scheduled cleaning of the swimming pool and water feature twice weekly, which includes collecting debris, vacuuming, and performing visual inspections of the pool and machinery room.
- Maintaining equipment in safe operating condition as per Exhibit A - Performance Work Statement.
- Providing trained technicians for inspections, adjustments, and scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Supplying all necessary tools, consumables, and materials required for maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Delivering monthly reports detailing system performance, including pass/fail assessments of features tested.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon issuance of a Notice to Proceed and will last for 12 months with four one-year options to renew.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide personnel with appropriate certifications for handling chemicals used in pool maintenance.

All contractor personnel must undergo background checks and obtain RSO Security Certifications prior to being allowed on-site. The contractor must also maintain satisfactory standards of employee competency and conduct.
