The U.S. Army is dedicated to a fundamental shift in operations, culture, and products to achieve better outcomes through digital transformation and new ways of thinking. Product Manager Army Watercraft Systems (PdM AWS) is seeking industry input for initiating, hosting, and supporting a Digital Engineering (DE) environment that includes common engineering tools and collaboration capabilities for Maneuver Support Vessel (Heavy) (MSV(H)), a new heavy lift landing craft.

Background
The U.S. Army is dedicated to a fundamental shift in operations, culture, and products to achieve better outcomes through digital transformation and new ways of thinking. Product Manager – Army Watercraft Systems (PdM AWS) is seeking industry input for initiating, hosting, and supporting a Digital Engineering (DE) environment that includes common engineering tools and collaboration capabilities for Maneuver Support Vessel (Heavy) (MSV(H)), a new heavy lift landing craft.

Work Details
The Request for Information (RFI) seeks solutions for an MSV(H) DE environment which is comprised of integrated engineering tools and a collaboration platform to achieve outcomes such as increased transparency of authoritative system structured data and models, replacement of traditional acquisition documents with digital system structured data, and creation of a collaborative environment to achieve an Authoritative Source of Truth (ASoT), develop digital models and simulations, create digital twins, implement digital thread digitization and traceability throughout a product's lifecycle, increased Configuration Management to facilitate orderly management of system information and system changes, and to accelerate the development of complex systems.
