Background
The USDA Forest Service is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of Type 7 Slip-On Pump Units. The Forest Service plays a critical role in responding to wildfires across the United States, utilizing specialized firefighting equipment to protect national forest lands and assist other agencies.

This contract aims to enhance their firefighting capabilities by providing self-contained units designed for various fire suppression tasks.

Work Details
The contract includes the delivery of sixteen (16) Type 7 slip-on pump units, which must meet Forest Service specifications. The units will consist of:
- Eleven (11) units with a 50-gallon water tank
- Four (4) units with a 50-gallon water tank and foam proportioner
- One (1) unit with a 125-gallon water tank

Each unit will include a water tank, an auxiliary engine-driven centrifugal pump, a fuel cell, a hose reel, and a control panel. The vendor must provide a production schedule based on government priorities and deliver completed units within specified timelines.

Period of Performance
The final delivery of all scheduled items shall be completed on or before September 30, 2025.

Place of Performance
The work will take place at the vendor's place of business, with delivery locations in California, Idaho, and Nevada.
