Two Way Handheld Radios

Background
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) needs seventy (70) handheld radios for use at Faith Elementary School, Fort Moore, GA to provide comprehensive communication coverage, via high-quality UHF radio transmissions. DoDEA serves the educational needs of children of military service members and Department of Defense civilian employees by providing pre-kindergarten (Pre-K) through 12th-grade educational requirements in three Regions: Americas, Pacific, and Europe.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide (70) portable hand-held two-way radios with specific salient features including channel output, frequency, power output, weight with battery, average battery life, ruggedness and reliability factor, programmable channels, battery pack, and UHF – Analog or Digital/Analog. The Contractor shall also be responsible for the shipping/delivery of seventy (70) portable handheld radios and any included accessories. Additionally, the Contractor is required to provide a three-year extended warranty, telephonic or online support during the warranty period, available during school operating hours or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (except federal holidays), delivery within 30 days after contract award, and evidence of Federal Communications Commission Licensing permits for Government Agencies as applicable.
