Background
The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFACSYSCOM) Atlantic, specifically the Navy Crane Center in Portsmouth, VA, is conducting a sources sought announcement as a market research tool to identify potential sources for weight handling equipment.

This initiative aims to gather information on the commercial availability of mobile boat hoists to assist in decision-making processes. The contract is intended for the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC).

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of two (2) 150 metric ton mobile boat hoists.

The first hoist will be located at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek (JEBLC) in Virginia Beach, VA, and the second at Pearl City Peninsula (PCP) Compound in Pearl City, HI.

The specifications for the mobile boat hoists include:
- Designed, fabricated, tested (pre-shipment), shipped, reassembled, tested (post-delivery), and made ready for use at their respective locations.
- Capability of block spacing adjustment up to 40 feet.
- Minimum inside clearance height of 40 feet.
- Must be commercially available products suitable for outdoor use and storage.
- Construction must adhere to design drawings prepared by a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
