Twin Falls Janitorial Services

Background
The Bureau of Land Management, Idaho, is seeking small business sources capable of providing janitorial services in Twin Falls, Idaho at the Shoshone and Burley BLM offices. The objective of this service is to maintain the facility in such a manner as to provide a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for occupants and visitors inside and outside the facilities identified. The Twin Falls facilities have public facing offices and personnel working throughout the year and see an increase in personnel during Fire Season.

Work Details
The work under this contract includes furnishing of supplies and equipment and performing janitorial services at Shoshone and Burley Field Offices in Twin Falls, Idaho. The services include daily tasks such as emptying waste containers, vacuuming carpeted areas, cleaning tile, linoleum, hard surface floors, disinfecting restrooms and fixtures, restocking restrooms with supplies, cleaning break rooms, washing waste containers monthly inside and outside utilizing a disinfectant, dusting and general surface cleaning on a monthly basis, high dusting/cleaning on a semi-annual basis, re-lamping services quarterly for all light fixtures in the buildings/spaces covered by the contract, cleaning all interior glass surfaces quarterly from the ground line up to and including the second floor, cleaning all light fixtures both inside and out semi-annually, resilient flooring stripping to remove all built-up wax and imbedded dirt prior to re-waxing semi-annually.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one (1) base award period of twelve (12) months and four (4) option years of twelve (12) months each. The estimated start date for this contract is May 1, 2024, with an end date of April 30, 2029.

Place of Performance
Burley BLM Offices: The area of work consists of three (3) buildings; Engine Bay Building (south building) approximately 672 square feet, Operations Building (north) approximately 5,328 square feet, and Fire Office (west) approximately 5,300 square feet.
Shoshone BLM Offices: The area of work consists of approximately 10,000 square feet of floor space in the main office building approximately 8,400 square feet of floor space in the fire management office building.
