Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for various tasks related to the refurbishment of air handling units (AHUs), including:
1. Providing a Contractor Superintendent on-site at all times during work performance.
2. Supplying a Licensed Engineer stamped certification confirming that the roof can support temporary HVAC equipment, including necessary studies and analyses.
3. Ensuring compliance with Siemens Building Automation System integration requirements, which includes programming, graphics, point mapping, commissioning, and full integration work.
4. Maintaining full normal service for temporary HVAC systems during outages, with specified airflow, temperature control expectations, filtration requirements, and humidity control as needed.
5. Adhering to infection control measures as per ICRA guidelines for affected areas served by AHUs 4, 24, 39, 40, and 41.
6. Providing necessary documentation such as existing structural drawings for Fan Room 15 mechanical penthouse roof area and any previous structural assessments or modifications made to the roof in this area.
7. Coordinating with VA representatives regarding staging locations, rigging paths, equipment removal and installation access routes, and any crane or hoisting limitations applicable to Fan Rooms 6, 11, and 15.
