Background
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office is issuing a solicitation for the Tuscarora Herbicide Treatment project. The goal of this contract is to secure services for the ground-based application of contractor furnished herbicide, adjuvant, and dye on approximately 2,498 acres to control invasive and/or noxious weeds on BLM administered land in Elko County, NV.

This project is crucial for fire rehabilitation and fuels reduction activities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Application of herbicide and adjuvant on approximately 2,498 acres as per the Statement of Work (SOW) and supporting documents.
2. Terrestrial Tank Mix: Application of 2,4-D at 32 ounces/acre + Chlorsulfuron at 1 ounce/acre + non-ionic surfactant + dye.
3. Waters Edge Tank Mix: Application of approved 2,4-D at 64 ounces/acre + approved non-ionic surfactant + dye.
4. All applications must coincide with invasive species phenology and may require simultaneous large-scale applications across multiple sites.
5. The contractor must hold a current Nevada Professional Applicator License appropriate for the application method chosen prior to contract award.
6. Equipment must be cleaned to prevent the introduction and spread of invasive species before arriving on-site.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from May 18, 2026, to June 19, 2026.

Place of Performance
The work will be conducted in Elko County, NV.
