Background
The contract is issued by the ACC-APG Tobyhanna Division, which is part of the U.S. Army's mission to provide logistical support and maintenance for military equipment.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of turret punch presses and laser cutters through preventative maintenance and remedial repairs, thereby supporting the operational readiness of military capabilities.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform the following tasks:
1. Access proprietary data and information related to government operations, ensuring confidentiality as per the Privacy Act of 1974.
2. Develop an Accident Prevention Plan specific to the work hazards associated with turret punch presses and laser cutters, which must be reviewed by designated government personnel before work initiation.
3. Conduct Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) for any new work activities that present unique hazards.
4. Require subcontractors to submit their operational plans for major phases of work, which must be discussed in pre-work conferences with government representatives.
5. Implement safety measures including personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots and hard hats for all personnel on-site.
6. Ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations, including those outlined in EM 385-1-1, which governs safety and health requirements for construction activities.
