Background
The USDA Forest Service is seeking to identify qualified vendors capable of providing a Turntable Pallet Wrapping Machine. This Sources Sought Notice (SS) is for information and planning purposes only, aimed at gathering insights on potential suppliers for the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). The goal is to potentially issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) based on the responses received. The Forest Service reserves the right to change its requirements and will not reimburse any costs incurred by respondents.

Work Details
The contract involves providing one (1) brand-name 'Orion' Flex HPD Turntable Pallet Wrapping System base machine with custom options or an equivalent product. The specifications include:
- Base Machine: Heavy Duty with Color Touch-Screen & Deluxe Control Features, 30" Insta-Thread 260% Carriage with Insta-Cut, Special Load Height Photocell for Dark/Opaque Loads.
- Custom Options: Extended Mast for Loads up to 110” tall, Electronic Weigh Scale Package with digital weight indicator and RS232 port, 18" Base Extension from Tower, Dark Load Photo Eye Basic Spare Parts Kit.
- Delivery: FOB (Destination) to Northern Rockies Incident Support Cache, Missoula, MT 59808.
- Installation of the machine at the delivery location and training for Cache employees on machine operations.
