Tucson Plant Materials Center, AZ - Tree Removal   2

Background
The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is committed to helping people help the land by providing science-based conservation practices to sustain agricultural production.

The Tucson Plant Materials Center (PMC) is part of this mission and its main buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Following a precipitation event in July 2024, high winds caused damage to trees at the PMC, necessitating tree trimming and debris removal services to maintain the center's appearance.

Work Details
The Contractor will provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and services for the removal and disposal of debris resulting from tree trimming and removal. This includes:

(a) removing one Mesquite tree,
(b) removing one Acacia tree,
(c) disposing of old Yucca debris,
(d) disposing of one Mesquite debris,
(e) removing one Eucalyptus tree,
(f) removing three small Texas Mountain Laurels,
(g) disposing of Desert Willow debris, and
(h) removing approximately 10 desert broom trees. Additionally, the Contractor will trim one Mesquite tree over a building and another Mesquite tree while also removing associated debris. The contract also includes the removal of one unknown type tree stump. All work must comply with applicable laws, guidance, permits, and codes.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Tucson Plant Materials Center located at 3241 N. Romero Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705.
