Description

The department of Veterans Affairs', CMOP division of NCO-15, intends to award a Construction Contract for project
762-24-103, Tucson VA CMOP facility, 3675 Britannia Drive, Tucson, AZ 85706. See Statement of Work and other attached documents for deliverables and full details.

The NAICS Code for this project is 236220- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size standard $45M.
Estimated construction magnitude for this project is between $2M to $5M. This project is being solicited as a
Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) set aside. Proposals received in response to this solicitation will be
evaluated in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Proposal Submittal Instructions.

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) division of NCO-15, is seeking to award a construction contract for project 762-24-103 at the Tucson VA CMOP facility located at 3675 Britannia Drive, Tucson, AZ 85706.

The purpose of this contract is to install a covered parking solar photovoltaic (PV) system to enhance energy efficiency and provide shade for parking spaces. The estimated construction magnitude is between $2 million to $5 million, and it is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB).

Work Details
The scope of work includes the installation of new PV panels on canopy frames that will serve as shade structures for parking spaces. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including demolition, concrete work, metal fabrication, finishes, electrical installations, safety and security systems, earthwork, exterior improvements, and utility connections.

Specific tasks include:
1. Demolition of existing conditions.
2. Installation of concrete foundations and canopy structures.
3. Electrical work related to the solar PV system.
4. Coordination with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with VA standards.
5. Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals and as-built drawings.

The contractor shall begin performance within 30 calendar days after receiving the award and complete it within 365 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed.
