Description

The Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies is the 6th Department of Defense Regional Center established via Congressional Authorization and Appropriation via the Fiscal Year 2021 National Defense Authorization Act and approved by Secretary of Defense Austin on 9 June 2021.

The Ted Stevens Center functions in three main mission areas: executive education, research & analysis, and engagement & outreach, and conducts its mission principally across the Arctic regions of North America, Atlantic and Europe.

The TSC builds strong bilateral relationships between the United States and countries in the Arctic region as well as countries outside of the Arctic region that maintain Arctic interests, and in particular, interests oriented broadly to security matters.

Background
The Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies (TSC) is the 6th Department of Defense Regional Center established via Congressional Authorization and Appropriation through the Fiscal Year 2021 National Defense Authorization Act. Approved by Secretary of Defense Austin on June 9, 2021, the TSC's mission encompasses executive education, research & analysis, and engagement & outreach, primarily across the Arctic regions of North America, Atlantic, and Europe.

The center aims to build strong bilateral relationships between the United States and both Arctic and non-Arctic nations with interests in security matters.

Work Details
The contract involves providing support services for the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies. These services are intended to enhance the TSC's functions in three main mission areas: executive education, research & analysis, and engagement & outreach. The contractor will perform all aspects related to these support services for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance will be from September 30, 2024, through September 29, 2026, which includes one base period of 12 months and one option period of 12 months.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed principally across the Arctic regions of North America, Atlantic, and Europe.
