TryAI Defense Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) General Solicitation Demonstrations of Innovative Commercial Technologies

Background
The Joint Artificial Intelligence Center (JAIC) in collaboration with the Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking demonstrations for commercial technologies to foster innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities relevant to various areas of AI technological exploration. The Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) is authorized by Section 879 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year (FY 2017 and is considered a competitive procedure for the purposes of 10 U.S.C. chapter 137 and is considered a competitive procedure for the purposes of 10 U.S.C. chapter 137. This announcement is a general solicitation and includes evaluation criteria for potential award. Multiple awards of various demonstrations may be executed, including based contracts, Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs), and/or Test Services Agreements.

Work Details
The contract seeks demonstrations for commercial technologies related to AI capabilities in areas such as Data Readiness, AI Assurance, Synthetic Data, Edge/Fog Deployments, Data Labeling, Integration with 5G, Modeling and Simulation, AI Security, and AI Ethics. The innovative technology or method should be new or original as of the date of proposal submission. Proposals will be evaluated based on the innovative solution in one of the AI areas of technological exploration, the ability to test the solution within a specified duration, terms of consideration determined as fair and reasonable by the U.S. Government, and the ability of the proposed solution to meet a current or future organizational requirement.

Period of Performance
Proposals for this CSO will be accepted beginning Oct 27, 2020 at 08:20 am EDT and ending Sep 30, 2023 at 05:00 pm EDT.
