True North Family Retreat - Childcare

Background
The True North Family Retreat is organized for military families associated with the 821st CRG, 60th MXG, and 60th MSG at Travis Air Force Base.

The mission of this retreat is to build and maintain strong family structures through various activities, including childcare services. The contract aims to provide certified and licensed childcare services during the retreat to ensure that parents can focus on strengthening family bonds.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive childcare services for up to 144 children from a maximum of 24 military families during the retreat on August 22, 2026.

Services include:
1. Facilities: Coordination and securing of a suitable facility for childcare.
2. Staffing: Employment of qualified childcare professionals who meet industry standards for staff-to-child ratios, background checks, CPR and first aid certification, and professional appearance.
3. Programming: Recreational activities tailored to diverse age groups of children.
4. Supplies: Provision of necessary childcare supplies such as books, craft materials, toys, nap mats, diapers, wipes, and formula.
5. Reporting and Evaluation: Maintenance of accurate records related to attendance and activities; conducting post-event evaluations to assess service effectiveness; adherence to California Department of Social Services licensing requirements; implementation of quality assurance measures; appointment of a contract manager for oversight; compliance with all relevant regulations; flexibility in service delivery as needed.

Period of Performance
The childcare services will be rendered exclusively on August 22, 2026.

Travis Air Force Base.
