Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Fort Worth District, is issuing a solicitation for mowing services at Joe Pool Lake, located in Dallas, Texas. The contract aims to provide non-personal mowing services to maintain public use areas at the lake, supporting the agency's mission to manage and protect water resources and recreational facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, transportation, equipment, materials/supplies, and supervision to perform non-personal mowing services as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The work includes:

1. Mowing and trimming grass, weeds, tree and brush sprouts in designated areas downstream of Joe Pool Dam.

2. Maintaining vegetation height between two inches (2") and four inches (4").

3. Trimming around vertical objects within the mowed area using small power equipment or hand tools.

4. Conducting all job planning, programming, scheduling, administration, inspection, and management necessary for the mowing services.

5. Completing all mowing operations within a specified timeframe and notifying the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) upon completion for timely inspection.

The contractor must also adhere to safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings with employees.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of one (1) year from December 1, 2024, to November 30, 2025, with two additional option periods of one year each.
