Description

TriMed Orthopedic Procedural Packages to include orthopedic products and ancillary accessories. Solicitaion is available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS).

Background
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support, Medical Supply Operations ECAT Division is issuing this contract to procure TriMed Orthopedic Procedural Packages, which include orthopedic products and ancillary accessories. The goal of the contract is to support Department of Defense (DoD) activities by ensuring the availability of necessary surgical instruments and implants for orthopedic procedures. The maximum dollar value of the proposed procurement is $3,679,288.00 over a five-year period.

Work Details
The contract will provide TriMed Inc.'s orthopedic procedural packages that include:
- Orthopedic implants (medical devices)
- Ancillary accessories such as drill bits, saw blades, bone cement, etc.

These products are to be delivered under three methods: Just-in-Time (JIT), Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD), and Consignment. The instruments are used during surgeries and returned for reprocessing. The estimated dollar value for DLA's requirements in support of DoD activities is approximately $1,839,644.00 over the five-year Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.
