TRICARE Quality Monitoring Contract (TQMC) Award   3

This contract was awarded competitively in accordance with FAR Part 15, and contains predominantly firm fixed price line items. The purpose of this contract is to assist DHA Health Care Administration Directorates for Medical Affairs, Health Care Operations, and the TRICARE Health Plan in assessing and improving the safety and quality of care delivered under the TRICARE benefit across the direct and private sector care systems. The contract will assist DHA in decreasing unwarranted variation in the quality of medical care, implementing proven clinical and healthcare business practices, and creating an environment for learning and continuous improvement across the MHS. The contract will also support DHA with the management of clinical quality measurement to validate the quality of care. The contract base period of performance (transition in) is May 1, 2024 through September 30, 2024. There are five, one year option periods continuing through September 30, 2029.
